What Oregon requires — before you file
1
6-month residency. You or your spouse must have lived in Oregon for at least 6 months before filing for dissolution.
2
No mandatory waiting period. Oregon has no statutory waiting period for uncontested dissolution.
3
Financial disclosure required. Both parties must exchange financial affidavits.
Oregon says 'dissolution of marriage' not divorce, and uses 'parenting plan' for all custody arrangements. Oregon is a no-fault state.
