1 90-day residency. You or your spouse must have lived in Montana for at least 90 days before filing for dissolution.
2 20-day waiting period. Montana requires at least 20 days from service before a dissolution decree can enter.
3 Financial disclosure required. Both parties must provide financial information.
Montana says 'dissolution of marriage' not divorce, and uses 'parenting plan' for custody arrangements.
