1 6-month residency. You or your spouse must have lived in Indiana for at least 6 months, with the last 3 months in the county where you file.
2 60-day waiting period. Indiana requires at least 60 days from the date of filing before a dissolution decree can enter.
3 Financial disclosure required. Both parties must provide financial information covering income, assets, and debts.
Indiana says 'dissolution of marriage' not divorce. Indiana uses 'legal custody' and 'physical custody' — standard terminology.
