Child Support Case Registry Form

Required in every case that includes a child support order — registers the order with the state support registry.

What this form does

Any time a court issues a child support order in California, FL-355 must be filed to register the order with the state. This enables enforcement through wage garnishment, tax intercept, and other collection tools if payments are not made. It is not optional — courts require it with every support order.

Who needs to file it

Filed by the party who obtained a child support order.

When to file it

File with your child support order — required in every case.

What happens after you file

The order is registered with the state. Enforcement mechanisms become available if needed.

Filing fee: No separate filing fee.
