Child Support Information and Order Attachment
Detail the income and expense factors the court will use to calculate child support.
What this form does
California child support is calculated using a statewide formula that considers both parents incomes, the percentage of time each parent has with the child, and certain deductions. FL-342 captures the inputs to that calculation and sets out the proposed support order. Courts use it to confirm the math and issue an enforceable order.
Who needs to file it
Filed in any case where child support is being ordered or modified.
When to file it
File with your FL-300 or as part of your dissolution packet when child support is at issue.
What happens after you file
The court calculates support using the inputs from both parties FL-150s and FL-342s and issues an order.
