What Arkansas requires — before you file

18-month separation OR fault grounds. Arkansas grants divorce either after 18 months of separation or on fault grounds such as adultery or cruelty.

Financial disclosure required. Both parties must disclose income, assets, and debts.

Parenting class may be required. Some Arkansas counties require parents to complete a parenting class when minor children are involved.
